TEHRAN, Dec. 7 (MNA) – A Member of Parliament Energy Commission has said Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has formed a committee to address Crescent case.

Mehr News Parliament correspondent reported that Mosa Ahmadi told a workgroup had been established by the SNSC to bring the Crescent case to International Court in Hague, with the Oil minister attending the Parliament Energy Commission.

The Assaluyeh representative to the Parliament also added that the oil ministry and Supreme National Security Council would address the Crescent case either through negotiation or through settlement.

The non-permanent member of the Article 90 Commission asserted that a work group had been established by the Supreme National Security Council with Rostam Qasemi, former oil minister as the official responsible for negotiations, settlement, and addressing the Crescent case.

“According to the oil minister’s remarks in the Energy Commission, the Crescent case issues have not related to any official from the oil ministry, its employees, or the Executive Board, and third parties outside the ministry have been major players in the case,” he said.

According to a report by Mehr News last week, a number of Parliamentarians including Alireza Zakani and Elias Naderan had meetings with Ali Shamkhani, the minister of the armed forces about Crescent case.
