Mehr News reported that Mohammad Javad Zarif had posted a report in his Facebook page, as follows:
“It is 21:30 night on Saturday. Tomorrow morning I will be in a short trip to Kuwait and Oman. About a week, I will not have opportunity and honor to write and post my report. Please accept my apologies. The day before, back in Genève, (Monday morning) I had only little time to attend for an hour at my office, and then I, along with the negotiating team, visited the President to thank him and to deliver a report of the Genève negotiations.
After meeting with him and hearing his remarks, I went to Parliament (in Baharestan Sq.) we agreed that I would answer to questions in Parliament open session Wednesday morning. Under stress, I went to Parliament that morning. I intended to prepare a PowerPoint slide show of Genève deal, but my hectic plan did not allow any such thing. However, I presented parliamentarians with English and Persian version of joint Action Plan.
I delivered my speech in 40 minutes and then parliamentarians asked their questions, to which I made short answers. Mr. Larijani’s handling of the session and summation was very soothing. Tonight, God willing, I will go to bed a bit sooner, since tomorrow I will be en route. Sorry for only a list of actions in the report. Just wanted to cover the whole week anyway.
God bless you, and au revoir
