Iran finishes Tunis para athletics C’ship with 23 medals

TEHRAN, Jun. 25 (MNA) – The Iranian para-athletes gained 23 medals, including 14 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze, at the 12th Tunis International Meeting in the African country.

The 12th Tunis International Meeting, Africa's only Grand Prix of the year dedicated to para athletics competitions, kicked off on Friday and ended on Sunday.

Iran took part in the tournament with 20 athletes in the category of athletes with disability and 12 in the category of athletes with visual impairment.
